Grand Parent Day
Celebration :

Bhawanipatna organized Grandparent’s day in the
vidyalaya premises on 14th
November at 08:30 am .The programme started with the
welcome address of the honourable Principal Ms.Pratima Mishra. She told about the importance of
Grandparent’s Day celebration in the vidyalaya. Then
the Grandparents introduced themselves and shared
their experiences. A set of cultural items in the
form of a group song by the students and a skit in
Hindi was played.The skit was played by the students
based on the theme how the Grandparents are
neglected in their families and how they should be
taken care of. Then a beautiful game was organized
for the grandparents.The grandfather had to put a
Bindi in the portrait of a grandmother and the
grandmother had to put a mustache in the face of the
portrait of the grandfather. The winners were given
away prizes by the Principal.The programme ended
with vote of thanks by Mr.I.P.S.Chouhan and the
National Anthem.

Educational Tour 2010-11:
The Children of Primary Classes went for an
Educational Tour to RamaKrishna Mission at M.Rampur
on 08th , Dec 2010, which is situated 70 K.m away
from Bhawanipatna. The journey started at 9.00
despite of bad weather. The students were
accompanied by all the primary teachers and the
Librarian. Students could see different vegetations,
useful to us. They could see the different varieties
of cattles. They could also see the beutiful
surroundings and how it is maintained. The students
met with old men of an old age home situated there.
They also met the orphanage. At the end of a
delicious meal was provided and the students of
Ramkrishna Mission presented a "Ghemmura" Dance.
